One of my favorite musical discoveries this year. Unique shoegazy post punk that rings in your ears long after you've listened, and i mean that in the best way possible. Dark, gothic, and best played loud. Cant wait to see what they do next.
Favorite track: Almost Hidden.

Caught these guys at a 2017 Felte showcase at SXSW and it was an incredible set! This is their first release. I highly recommend checking this out for some dark, frenetic and driving post-punk. Give it a listen.
Houses of Heaven is the Bay Area three piece of Keven Tecon, Adam Beck, and Nick Ott. Remnant, their inceptive EP, is a bleak, dub-influenced production, mixing elements of electronic music, Krautrock, and psychedelia, with nods to the the extreme sonic treatments of Adrian Sherwood. Produced by Monte Vallier (Wax Idols, Weekend), Remnant blends shifting textures of drum machines, live percussion, ambient guitar, vintage delays and custom engineered effects.
“Black Waves’” opens with hypnotic percussion, Beck's abstract rhythm guitar, and stark, angular basslines from former Soft Moon bassist Justin Anastasi, who makes a guest appearance on the EP. “Almost Hidden” follows with an effected wash of guitar and pulsing electronic drums. “Remain” is a dense, reverb-laden drone of guitar and synth bass. The EP closes with “Subfloor”, featuring Ott’s heavy toms, Tecon's evocative reversed vocals, and Beck's seraphic guitar.
Majestic, dark, driving, relentless darkwave from the masters of the genre. Some of their strongest material ever, and that's saying something. Featured on Mix 21 of the 14 waves podcast: 14waves.com/podcast/mix-021-ive-been-through-the-point-of-no-return/ Skull + Crossfades
It is a remarkable stage from the 90's, but come full force into the modern era ,reminiscent of parties and home treachery adding to the indulgence of party favors. Moderate use and fantastic dance raves! cliffy9
